Stress

There is a difference between the type of stress that motivates and inspires and that which fatigues and immobilises. Individuals differ in their perceptions and emotional responses at different times in their life and this determines their experience.

The need to rebalance

Professional competence, talent and excellence are no guarantee of immunity against stress. The increasing pace of change in business can bring tougher competition, failed communications and the real risk of redundancy. These pressures require careful readjustment and rebalancing  to maintain wellbeing and performance. Many incidences of "executive" stress are due to accumulating factors, principally exhausting years of long working hours that have not been adequately balanced. Success can come with unintended consequences. Mastering the capacity to rebalance, can profoundly alter how you feel now and for the future. Greater fulfillment and wellbeing are accessible realities.

Confidentiality

In truth, many people in positions of authority encounter episodes of stress in isolation. They can find themselves challenged by work, relationships and domestic responsibilities, but unable to turn to anyone who can offer practical help in confidence.  

A reluctance to confide in a family member or partner can occur out of a fear of putting pressure on those most emotionally attached. At work, personal disclosures can alter the balance of power and temporary  vulnerabilities can potentially be exploited. This service specifically allays these concerns.

The objective

Central to most stress situations is the discomfort of feeling "out of control". Stress management  offers the means to reassert control.

The objective is to eliminate discomfort and release energy to transform resistance into creative action. Each session is unique, individually focused, collaborative in style and designed to match insight with practical strategies and techniques. Every session evolves from the preceding one, along an expanding framework of creative choice. Sessions are face to face and telephone sessions or emails may also be used to support the process.

Ultimately, stress management is an intelligent personal and professional investment.

Fees for individuals

Once your requirements have been established and a fee basis is agreed, a professional code guarantees this will be adhered to with no 'surprises'. The number and length of sessions is based on what you want when you want.
