What is Emotional Detox?
Emotional detox is a process of healing
that releases unpleasant emotional memories. By counteracting how emotions work
faster than thoughts, it prevents emotionally reactive behaviour that can
sabotage happiness, success and goals. It is a process that stops the toxic
energy drain associated with anger, resentment, hurt, grief and fear. Clients
report feeling lighter, clearer, energised and ready to make overdue changes to
their personal and professional life.
So Within, So Without
Uncomfortable emotions and negative behaviour patterns are often caused by toxic
limiting self beliefs and the erroneous assumption that love, approval,
security, control or survival is something you find outside of yourself. The
detox process is focused on releasing these needs as being external by finding
love and safety from within. Emotional-Detox can help if you unconsciously
choose partners, jobs or friends who drain your energy , create chaos or make
you feel bad about yourself or not good enough because somehow your life "just
doesn't work". By uprooting the emotional cause, Emotional-Detox can help if
you want to change the way you sabotage your body, health or relationships by
misusing alcohol, food, cigarettes or drugs to suppress emotions, and
discomfort.
The Toxic Self Concept
This can happen at any age but it often starts in childhood when we are more
vulnerable due to obvious dependencies. We look to parents and parent figures
for love, approval and protection. We often donšt get what we need and believe
that it is because we are not good enough, not beautiful or clever enough. Many
of us project that need for love and approval onto partners, colleagues or
friends. We may try to people please or overwork, resulting in painful,
stressful lives and relationships that don't work. Only by accepting that we are
unconditionally loveable, and love ourselves in spite of our past or neglectful
parents, can we be free to create a life of fulfilment and contentment.
Emotional Release
People release suppressed emotion in many different ways. Breathing change, body
temperature change and postural change are all indicators that something is
clearing. The result is a feeling of lightness and renewed energy . As a result
we start to attract new opportunities and life takes on a different feeling
altogether.
How I Work
By observing my clients I source the toxic self-concept and limiting beliefs. I
can see and feel their energy and blocks behind the pain and emotions. I work
with universal principles, spiritual laws and energy to help clients make sense
of and resolve the past, from the perspective of love, compassion and
acceptance instead of fear or ongoing resentment. I guide them through "energetic clearing" to reveal the presence of love which is what we all truly
are. This recognition changes lives.

Testimonial for Emotional
Detox
My GP referred me to Louise as I was
going through divorce. However I can now say that with the benefit of hindsight
that I should have been seeing her a long time before I reached this crisis
point.
Like many other "thirty somethings" I
live a very stressed life with the pressure of work causing me to neglect my
relationships, family and my emotional well being.
With therapy and emotional healing and
Louisešs particular style of mentoring, I calmed down and began to understand my
motivations and, most importantly, I began to love myself for being me.
All my life I have pushed myself to be a high achiever driven by this desperate
need for approval. I now know that love and approval has to be recognised within
before you can receive it from others. I have learnt how to really look after
myself and nurture my soul.
Louise has helped me to wake-up, ask myself the right questions and guide me
towards a more profound sense of success and fulfilment.
